The Mansfield Lodge Hotel has completed its newly refurbished and Extension to the Lounge Bar. It now has capacity to cater for larger parties (up to 25 people) the new extension is also a cosy snug for couples wanting a nice intimate atmosphere.

We are pleased to announce the completion of our latest project, the Re-furbished Lodge Restaurant. We opened the newly refurbished Restaurant just in time for X-mas parties and functions and we are now in full flow for the beginning of 2010.

We are pleased to announce the completion of our latest addition to the hotel of a unisex toilet fully compliant to part M Building Regulations for both Ambient and Disability use.

Darren first started out as a chef aged 16 at Caunton Beck near Newark and went on to work in other local ala-carte restaurants such as Donnington Manor Hotel in Castle Donnington and Lakeside at Arnold gaining experience along the way catering for large wedding functions and busy restaurants which catered for up to 300 people.

Darren has now opened his own restaurant the Lodge Restaurant here at Mansfield Lodge Hotel. Darrens future plans for his restaurant are to gain rosette or even Michelin star recognition.

Darren is very passionate about food and uses the freshest and most local produce when designing his menus and hopes you enjoy the flavour of his success to come.
